I HAVE A WEDDING RING THAT I AM TRYING TO SELL BECAUSE I AM NO LONGER MARRIED. IT IS 2 CARATS AND THE DOWNSIDE IS THAT I DONT HAVE ANY OF THE PAPERWORK FOR IT. I HAVE TRIED EBAY AND ONLINE SITES BUT WOULD RATHER FIND A PLACE I CAN ACTUALLY GO TO AND SELL AND GET THE MONEY AT ONE TIME. I LIVE IN VIRGINIA. THE PAWN SHOPS HAVE BEEN NO SUCH LUCK EITHER

If i had that ring i would just put on ebay they have tons of Jewelery for sale someone would buy it.

Take it to a jewelry store. If they don’t want to buy it,, maybe you can have it reset into another ring.

Why don’t you go to a jeweler and get it appraised so you can have some proof of what it’s worth and then try again on eBay. People are more willing to buy when they know what they’re purchasing is real.

Some jewelry stores will but things like that.
Many places shy away from anything that they even suspect might be stolen.

If you knew where your ex got it, couldn’t they provide some sort of estimate for your use?
interesting that a pawn shop isn’t interested in the purchase.
most people won’t buy it without authenticity papers to show you didn’t steal it.
